Oakleigh Institution Brings Cake Joy to the Northern Suburbs

Melbourne – 17 May 2019 – Nikos, an Oakleigh institution founded by Nick and Tass Poupouzas over 30 years ago, has opened a second location in Fairfield.

Nikos Fairfield will have all the same ingredients that have made Nikos the buzzing heart of Eaton Mall in Oakleigh, with some new additional surprises thrown in.

In addition to the full line of Greek speciality cakes and pastries, the Fairfield location will also host a full breakfast, lunch and dinner kitchen and 130-seat restaurant, serving traditional Greek specialities with an inspired modern interpretation. At the helm is award winning Executive Chef, Natalia Gaspari.

Nikos Fairfield’s renowned speciality cakes and patisserie will be produced under the watchful eye of the prominent Executive Pastry Chef, Michael Germanos.

Nikos Fairfield has been over a year in the planning stages, and features an amazing interior design spearheaded by the talented Conrad Manolidis of Blackmilk Interior Design and constructed by Demroc Building Group.

Nikos Fairfield is located at 254-262 Wingrove Street and officially opens for business on 17 May. Nikos Fairfield is open seven days a week from 6am to 11pm.
